Compassionate Care ABA, LLC is hiring a part-time BCBA/LBA to provide person-centered Behavioral Support Services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Maryland DDA.
\n \nThis opening is focused on Harford County, including Aberdeen, Bel Air, Havre de Grace, Edgewood, and nearby communities. Candidates may build a local caseload in this service area and are not expected to cover other counties unless mutually agreed.
\n \nAbout the role
\nThis is adult-focused, community-based work in homes, day programs, workplaces, residential settings, and other community settings—not a high-volume pediatric clinic role. Eligible assessment, plan-writing, data-analysis, documentation, and other indirect work may be completed remotely; direct consultation, observation, caregiver/staff training, and implementation support occur within the assigned local service area.
\n \nSchedule and employment
\n• Part-time, flexible caseload
\n• Daytime availability is especially helpful because many adult clients and teams are available during business hours
\n• W-2 or contract arrangement may be considered based on qualifications and mutual fit
\n• Competitive compensation based on experience, licensure, and employment arrangement
\n \nResponsibilities
\n• Conduct functional and contextual behavioral assessments
\n• Develop, implement, monitor, and revise person-centered Behavior Support Plans
\n• Analyze behavioral data and translate findings into practical recommendations
\n• Train and coach direct support professionals, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
\n• Complete accurate, timely Maryland DDA documentation
\n• Support quality assurance, implementation fidelity, and ethical practice
\n \nRequired qualifications
\n• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
\n• Master’s degree in behavior analysis or a closely related field
\n• Active Maryland behavior analyst license, or eligibility to obtain it before independent practice
\n• Strong assessment, plan-writing, training, communication, and documentation skills
\n• Reliable transportation within Harford County
\n \nAdult IDD/DDA experience is preferred. Strong pediatric ABA clinicians interested in transitioning their skills to adult services are encouraged to apply if they meet the required qualifications.
\n \nApply through LinkedIn or email rachel@compassionatecare.life with your resume, preferred schedule, weekly hours sought, availability, and earliest start date.
